Paul Shin is a Managing Partner at AltWave Advisory, bringing nearly a decade of experience in energy M&A, A&D, and capital solutions across the broader energy sector. He has led and supported numerous corporate and asset-level transactions, combining commercial insight with technical coordination to deliver clear, execution-focused outcomes for clients.
Prior to founding AltWave, Paul worked in energy investment banking and advisory roles at Stephens and Detring, where he led valuation workstreams, strategic analysis, market outreach, and execution management for both public and private clients. His experience includes corporate divestitures, A&D mandates, and equity and debt capital raising processes across multiple U.S. basins.
He holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Financial Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Charlie Lapeyre is a Managing Partner at Virage Energy Group, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and advising on upstream A&D opportunities across the Lower 48. He brings more than 25 years of experience across A&D advisory, technical evaluation, and reservoir engineering.
Prior to founding Virage, Charlie served as Managing Director and Head of A&D Advisory at Stephens Inc., advising upstream energy clients on acquisitions and divestitures. Before Stephens, he spent more than a decade as a Managing Director and Head of A&D Advisory at Energy Spectrum Advisors (ESA), completing over 100 corporate and asset-level transactions in the upstream sector. Earlier in his career, Charlie held petroleum engineering and finance/business development roles at Merit Energy Company, Torch Energy Advisors, and ARCO International Oil & Gas Company.
He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
